In news from the big island of Hawaii and Oahu, Sunetric President Sean Mullen was quoted as saying, “Hawaii businesses are finding the use of renewable energy is not only the right choice for the environment, but for (firms also).” Very well said indeed.
Sunetric has estimated that over the next 30 years Kona Brewing Company’s PV system should prevent approximately 7,730 tons of carbon dioxide emissions from entering the atmosphere annually, or about 5 million car trips to a local grocery store. The company says that the solar array offsets 16,425 barrels of oil that would otherwise be burned to make electricity during the next 30 years, and PV solar energy is a clean and renewable energy source. If you are in need of Oahu Used Cars then I can certainly suggest King Windward Nissan. All in all for their part, they have been specializing in used cars on the island of Oahu for some time now and are highly recommended.
The Kona Brewing Company has executed other energy-smart initiatives. Both of its pubs on Hawaii’s Big Island and Oahu, this last fall, became Certified Green Restaurants® by the Green Restaurant Association. In December the brewery produced Oceanic Organic Saison, Hawaii’s first certified organic beer. The company will be reaching for another goal with its new solar energy generating system.
